If your store is not on the aforementioned platforms, you could also integrate with CJ via API. After that, you could use our automatic order processing system. What's more, CJ now can offer wholesale service, pre-stock your inventory, and deposit inventory to curtail processing time. 2. How can we start working with CJ? a. Create a CJ account and verify your email. b. Authorize your store on CJ. c. Find the products you need and list them. d. Sync your store orders to CJ and make payments. Useful Information about Oversized Products and Price
You may always encounter the word "Oversize" on the CJ platform and feel puzzled about this type of product and the high shipping fee it costs. The article will make everything clear regarding this type of product. The key points are listed as follows: 1. The concept of the oversized product; 2. Parameter differences among various shipping methods; 3. Oversized price. 1. What is an oversized product? Oversized products, also named light goods or measurement cargo, refer to large but lightweight packages. Then it comes to a question: what is the standard of large size and lightweight? Here involves two elements -- actual weight and volumetric weight. Actual weight is what the figure is shown on a scale. Basically, volumetric weight (KG) is generated by the formula: length* width* height (centimeter) / 6000. Note: Volumetric weight (Pounds) is generated by the formula length* width* height (inches) / 166. Here is a picture for you to understand. If the volumetric weight of the item is heavier than the actual weight, then it belongs to the oversized product. If not, then it is a regular product (see Table 1). An item Length: 60cm Width: 60cm Height: 30cm Actual Weight: 0.6kg According to the formula: length* width* height (centimeter) / 6000, the volumetric weight is 60cm * 60cm * 30cm / 6000 = 18kg > 0.6kg (Actual Weight). Then the item belongs to the oversized product. 2. Parameter differences among various shipping methods; When it comes to specific shipping, however, the parameter, or the number 6,000, to calculate the volumetric weight varies. Some shipping methods apply the parameter 8,000 or 5,000 to get the volumetric weight. Some do not distinguish oversized products from other types. For more details, please look at Table 2. How Does CJ Work and What is the Overview?
CJdropshipping is a comprehensive website that helps dropshippers undertake their business in every aspect. Product sourcing, warehousing, order fulfilling, and shipping, literally every service of dropshipping can be fulfilled by CJ.In this tutorial, we will show you how to use these services on our website. Main parts of CJ's services:1. Product Sourcing.2. Store Authorization.3. Product Listing/Connecting.4. Automatic Order Import.5. Product Sourcing.After entering CJ, the first step is to find suitable products. Simply, you can search by keywords to find your favored products. If you cannot find the products you want, you are permitted to post sourcing requests. For new beginners, sourcing on "Individual Product" is more suitable while using "Store Existed Product" requires an authorized store. After submission, our sourcing team will try to find a suitable supplier for the product you posted. And you could view the status in Service > Sourcing, and the result is expected to come out within 2 days. Note: If you are interested in our automatic order fulfillment, you would need to complete "Store Authorization" first and "list the sourced product to your store.If not, you can simply place orders via Excel/CSV Files or place orders manually. 2. Store Authorization. There are many types of stores available to be integrated with CJ. They are Shopify, eBay, WooCommerce, Shipstation, and Etsy, among other stores. For each type of store, we have introduced detailed steps on the authorization page. 3. Product Listing/Connecting. In order to distinguish your orders that with CJ's products, there should be a connection between the product in your store and the corresponding product on CJ. List It Now or Add the product to My Products and list it to store later! You could click the "List" button on the CJ product pages and fill in the required information to post the products to your store, during which automatic connections will be established. If you already have the same product in your store, a manual product connection is required and you can click the "Connect" button instead. Then you'll be directed to the following page. You would need to search for the corresponding products from your store and CJ, then connect them. 4. Automatic Order Import. After you complete the store authorization and product connection, you would need to go to Orders > Store Orders when you get orders from your customers, by clicking Sync Store Orders, the orders with CJ's product can be synced to CJ.After payment, we will then fulfill the orders for you. 5. Order Uploading via Excel/CSV File & Placing Orders Manually. For users without any authorized stores, there're two ways to place orders.a. Uploading an excel or CSV file. In this case, you need to add the products to My Products first, which also can be done on the product page. Then choose "Import Excel Orders effectively" on Store Orders page and download the template to fill in your order details. b. The other way to place orders without authorizing a store is to Create Orders Manually. Please copy the product SKU or title on CJ first, then go to Imported Orders > Create orders by searching products > Search the product, and fill in required information before the payment. We will process the orders immediately upon receipt. Tracking numbers and after-sale services are available for every order. How to Create an Automatic Order on CJ?
Still clueless about how to have your orders fulfilled by CJ? Here's a step-by-step tutorial for creating automatic orders: Main Steps: 1. Store Authorization. 2. Product Searching/Sourcing. 3. Product Listing/Connecting. 4. Add to Cart & Pay. To make things clearer, we have a flowchart and a video for your reference: Detailed steps: 1. Store Authorization. Before establishing connections between products in your store and products on CJ and having orders synced to CJ, you need to authorize your store. There are over 8 types of stores that can be authorized on CJ, including Shopify, eBay, WooCommerce, Shipstation, Etsy, Shoplazza, Wix, etc. You can find detailed instructions for authorization of each type of store. For instance, if you need to authorize your Shopify store, please go to the Shopify authorization page and click 'Add Store'. If you wish to authorizer stores from Clickfunnel or other personal websites, you can use our API keys and find the detailed flow in the API document. Moreover, you could consult our agent in the chatroom for more information. 2. Product Searching/Sourcing. After completing store authorization, the next step is to find the products you want to sell: a. Browse our website. You can find various classifications and recommendations of products on the homepage. b. Search products by keywords or SKUs. c. Search by images. You can drag an image or upload one by hitting the camera icon to find a product. d. Source a product. You can post a sourcing request if you cannot find your desired product on CJ. Your request will be handled within 2 days. Go to Service > Sourcing; Post a Sourcing Request. Note: You can either post sourcing requests on existing products from your store or upload images and details for an individual product. 3. Product Listing/Connection. Products must be properly connected before orders can be fulfilled by CJ. a. How to list a product? Products from CJ can be listed to your store directly: Click 'List' on the product page; Select the store and set up the product information; Select variants and set the price; Click "List it Now". Then the listed products from CJ will be automatically connected. b. How to connect a product? If you want CJ to fulfill orders of products from your store, you need to create connections between them and CJ's products: Go to Products > Store Products; Click "Unconnected"; Sync the product from your store, and find the same product on CJ by searching image, clicking "Match", or entering the product name/SKU; Connect them. 4. Add to cart & Pay. You would need to go to Orders > Store Orders to import orders from your store to CJ by clicking the button Sync Store Orders first. Select the orders and add them to the Orders Picking; Go to Orders Picking and Submit orders; Confirm the order details and pay. Note: If orders are not paid right away, they can be found in Store Orders > Awaiting Payment. The inventory can be reserved for 24 hours. 8 New Icons for Dropshipping Orders
CJ has added 8 icons for dropshipping orders to provide a better service. They offer new or useful functions in Orders > Imported Orders. They are: 1. Create orders; 2. Import orders by Excel; 3. Failed orders management; 4. Bulk edit warehouse; 5. Combine Orders; 6. Split orders; 7. Export orders; 8. IOSS setting. Let's go through them! 1. Create orders manually. You can create orders manually if you don't connect your store to CJ. For this situation, the product title or SKU is necessary. Simple steps: click the icon > add the product to shopping cart > click "Next" to fill in the shipping information > Confirm. 2. Import orders by Excel is a more efficient option if you have many orders. Steps: click the icon > download template > fill in all the order information > upload the document > Confirm. 3. Failed orders management. It includes orders that failed to be imported. You will find related reasons and how to update them to Orders manually. 4. Bulk change warehouse for orders. You can select one or more orders to change the warehouse. Steps: select orders > click the button > select the order > Click "Change" > confirm. 5. Combine multiple orders into one. When your customer places two or more orders and wants to receive them in one package, you can combine those orders into one. Please note that those orders must be from the same store with the same shipping info. Otherwise, it will be failed. 6. Split orders. You can split your orders from one to many by product or by quantity. It is a great way to save shipping costs when your orders are overweight or oversized. 7. Export orders. For better store management, you can export orders to get more information, like the best-selling products. Just select orders and click "Export Orders" icon. 8. Sync IOSS setting. When you set up the IOSS in your Profile and found it didn't work for your imported orders, please try to update the settings. Steps: 1. select the orders; 2. update "IOSS Setting." How to Connect Packages with Your Products on CJ Platform?
Many CJ customers prefer to attach packages to the products to make the items exquisite. However, they are stopped by the confusing operation of packaging connection on the CJ platform. To make things clear, the article presents a detailed introduction to the aspect. Note: It is highly recommended that your ideal products should be connected with packages all at once as opposed to having them connected separately; that is, many times, as every of your operation will undo your previous attempt; that is, your previous setting will be overlapped. For instance, a gift card that has been connected in your first attempt will not follow when you add a box the next time. You'd have to connect both of them in your second attempt. Here are the major steps: 1. Learn about custom packaging; 2. Connect packaging in Products > Store Products; 3. Connect packaging in Products > My Products; The general steps are as follows. 1. Learn about custom packaging; On this page, you will see: a. Pre-Designed Packaging: all the packages that can be available for customers. b. Items with the sign : packages that can be designed or customized. c. Items without the sign : packages that do not support design function. d. My Custom Packaging: the packages that you have designed. If you want custom packaging, you can click the sign to design, and the designed packages will show up in "My Custom Packaging." 2. For automatic orders, please connect packaging in Products > Store Products; Note: Applied to Order: The package will be used for the order. It means that the package is for all the products of an order, not just the connected product. Applied to Product: The package will be used for each connected product. It refers to that the package is only available to the product you connect instead of all products in an order. Let's make it clear. If you place an order with three products, including the product with the connected package, our warehouse staff will only attach the package to the connected product rather than all three products. In the case of bundle products, you may also choose between "Applied to Bundle" and "Applied to Each Product in the Bundle" View connected packaging for each variant. 3. For manual orders or Excel orders, please connect the packaging in Products > My Products; The steps are the same as above. Go to your Profile > Account Security > Reset Password > Edit and click 'Verify Now'. 2. Click 'Send' before entering the verification code received in your inbox and click 'Submit'. 3. Enter and confirm your new password. 4. Your password will be reset successfully. If you forgot your password, please follow the steps below: 1. At the login page, click 'Forgot your password?'. 2.
